| It's sweltering hot. Sweat rolls down in small rivulets down my face, back, arms, legs...and I'm only in my house. It's amazing. Just like Africa...hahaha. At least there's a nice cool occasional cross-breeze, and a rotating fan.
Time to make more ice cubes for the freezer.

| Xanga has become more complicated in navigating since the last I visited. I haven't written in so long, coming back is almost like saying..."Greetings, xangalings." And just as fast as the landing, I'm also leaving...lol. What's the point of this entry. Just to say hi, things are good here on Venus and I don't have much time to juggle so many websites.
I'm here for commentary.

| A belated Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all. Don't expect too much activity from me on this site, but one thing I did want to say was how to highlight one of the perks of work. Today was a rainy morning/lunch, and my pants got really drenched from the rain. Luckily, we have alot of products and merchandise in our office due to our Licensing/Brand dept. I am now wearing a pair of Little Miss Sunshine pj pants. Hahaha. My jeans are drying on a chair. And I get to keep the pants! Wow! Talk about rolling out of bed and going to work- even my shoes and socks are drying in a corner, so I am barefoot. Lol!

| Happy Thanksgiving everyone :)
Been resting up with family in MD. It's so nice to be around a Chinese family again. That's a weird thing to say, but I haven't been enveloped in one for a looooong time. Mostly feel like my own island in NY- surrounded by tons of great friends of course, but family is unique. I love hearing stories of generations past, to see what kind of people and personality traits run through the family, to gain a little more understanding of who and why I am the way I am. In addition, it's been so nice to just sit and be in...silence. Nature is more readily accessible, even in the 'burbs. I've volunteered to rake leaves in the yard- I love physical work and being in nature. Kind of sad that the nature in my apartment is condensed into the dry fall leaves I've collected. Maybe I should raise (or attempt to raise) some plants like my roommate. Thank God for her- we have some sort of life form in our place :)
My cousin's dog is stinking up the kitchen with her breath. Hahaha. (Sorry Amber!) I guess I don't want a dog THAT bad...yet. Time to move into another room.

| Hahaha you guys are funny. Speaking of funny, here's a photo from our last football game. Thanks to A's great photography skills, he shot the yearbook photo I never had. What a riot!
